Mangaluru:ly-On the occasion of Doctors Day, 25 first aid kits were
distributed at various traffic junctions by team “We Are United”.
Speaking on this Occasion , Dr Sudhir Hegde said, We are doing this drive for keeping in mind of the
citizens of Mangaluru. Whenever any accident occurs, if first aid is
required on time, the chances of survival and recovery is better.
The first kit was Handover to City Police Commissioner of Mangaluru city Mr Sandeep Patil. Later on,
to DCP ,L & O, Mr Hanumanthraya and DCP Crime & Traffic Mr Laxmi Ganesh.
Adviser Dr Ananth Prabhu G Said that, Team “We are United” has always carried out unique
initiatives, to make Mangaluru City Cleaner, Greener, Healthier and Friendlier. Some of our previous
initiatives Like Blanket Distribution Drive, Social Book shelf with free books, Tree plantation
etc. This time, on the occasion of Doctors Day,
going to ensure that, basic first aid
facility will be available at every junction. We would like to whole heartily thank the Police
Department for the support extended.
President of We are United Mr Azfar Razzack, Mr J Koragappa, trustee Vikaas Group of
Institutions, Sandalwood actress Tanuja Pawar, Anil Dsilva, Safa, Runal Mohammad and others
