Udupi-Nov,2017-Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji has inaugurated the three-day ‘Dharma Sansad’ organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) at Royal Garden Udupi City on Nov 24,Friday,2017.
Construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Cow protection, eradication of untouchability, social reforms and prevention of religious conversions were the main issues besides some other issues which will come up for discussions in the three-day Convention.
More than 2,000 saints, Math heads and VHP leaders from across the country are participating in the meet,
which would also discuss the issues of discrimination on the basis of caste and gender, and explore ways to ensure harmony within the Hindu society.
