Moodabidre: Alva’s education foundation Moodabidre celebrated 70th Independence day at Vidyagiri. more than 30,000 students of the institution take part in the celebration.
Fr Aloysius Paul D’souza of Bishop of Mangaluru was the chief guest of the event.Abhayachandra Jain, MLA Moodabidre were present on the occasion.
Over 30,000 students from Alva’s college had gathered in the college ground to celebrate the 70th Independence Day, exhibiting the students’ unity and strength and thereby paying a mass tribute to our nation.
The students from all the courses including PUC, Degree, engineering and medical had gathered there, standing in apposite lines to salute the country as the national flag was hoisted by the chief guest.
Not to leave behind the children from Alva’s special school who too waved the flags with full spirit as and when the integration song was sung. It was indeed a visual treat to the viewers.
