Mangalore, Jan 29, 2016- On the eve of Martyr’s Day commemorating the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, human rights activist Teesta Setalvad addressed an interactive session the topic “Human Rights and Youth” with college students on at SDM College of Business Management in Mangaluru city on January 29.
The session on the topic “Human Rights and Youth” is being organized jointly by Centre for Integrated Learning and Campus Career Academy in association with the college.
The session was focus on the diverse aspects of understanding Human Rights issues and its violations and is intended to kindle a sense of responsibility among youth to protect the rights of themselves and others who are victims of such violations, S Nandagopal, Convener of Centre for Integrated Learning, a city based NGO working to evolve strategies and interventions that add value to present education system.
